Anything easy with as few add-on's as possible, light and date is useful, no more:)

My favorite wrist watch ever. Rest are some cheap Chinese Q&Q ones...
I have to change the battery...
I don't dare to buy something more expensive, because I'm too careless with my things sometimes.

I don't wear a watch. I can't abide things around my wrist. It feels unnatural and awkward.

My father was a watchmaker, and as a boy I could have any watch I liked usually. Also always got a watch for birthday or Christmas present ... :rolleyes2: ... with the result that, as an adult, I don't wear them at all. :D I can't stand wearing watches, like Wat Tyler my arm has to be clean and devoid of any jewellery.

I can't stand wearing one either.

Plus, there's a clock on my phone, one on my computer, the TV has a clock, there's one in the car, there's one in just about every room of my house, and every public building has one...there's no reason to strap one around my wrist.

It would probably be more useful just to forget about time once in a while.

I've got too many, about 15 I think, but I haven't used most of them for ages so all the batteries are dead.

My favourite is a Prin watch which I bought in Prague about 10 years ago. Can't find any pics though.

I don't wear watches anymore (they all mysteriously stop working), but I used to really like Swatches in the 1980s.

Water proof Timex sports watch. I can bathe and shower with it on and no damage is done. They are tough and can take many bangs and bashes, takes a licking and keeps on ticking.

True enough there are, but it's not just nickel, it's all metal except silver, and gold.
When she wears jeans she has to sew a patch of material over the back of the metal button or she will get a burn like sore where the metal has touched her skin.

Nah, that is only a trick to make you buy her jewelry. Buhahaha!

But there are watches in solid carbon or polyresin for allergics. Cheaper than a gold watch! ;)

For the longest time I wore a pocket watch until it decided to get washed along with the jeans it was attached to. It was given to me by a high school girlfriend....wait a minute.

Aemma does the laundry...the watch got laundered...I don't wear the watch anymore... :lightbul:

Something stinks in the State of Tolleson....

On my fathers 65th birthday i bought him a Gold pocket watch.
He died ten years after, and while my mother sorted his personal things out she gave me it back, she remembered that i had given it him, it's a Swiss made watch and is perfect like it's never been used.
The receipt i kept all those years ago, and the box i bought it with are still in my possession.

I hate being without my watch, I use it all the time, I am rarely around other timepieces, I have none in the house, the cooker is always wrong, and my phone is often not with me, besides I don't carry my phone at work, and it is a pain pulling it out of my pocket and waking it up every time! OH and of course it's solar powered!
