So perheps it makes clear that the original slavic type was med/dinarid/alpinid (as most common type in Ukraine and South Russia) and not "balto nordid" as others have been trying to prove.

Original Polish type was med/dinarid/alpinid ?

I find it interesting that the study says Bosnians are closer genetically to Lithuanians than Croatians.

Do you think that's realistic?

I haven't seen enough Lithuanians to judge, but I find it hard to believe that Croats are further away from us, genetically, than Lithuanians.

Croats are Germanic, that's why.

Well, basically. Balts were the ones slavicized by southerners.

Still doesn't make sense though. The study also claims that Lithuanians are closer to Bosnians than Poles (their neighbours).

Hey brat I like Russians so I don't want to insult you. There's nothing that disproves this.

Nah, his ancestors were obviously Nordids/North Pontids.

Dinarids developed in mountaneous areas.

From all my experience:
Slavs are new modification that came from the interaction between so-called Balts (would be more correct to name them PIE remaining on the Eastern-European plain) and Sarmats that returned here with various Hordes (cousins). Finally - new identity - Slavs (about 5 century). At the same time Balts still keep the memory about PIE things - "bramani" in the Latvian daina etc.

Are you trying to say Sarmats are not IE?

This is very, very likely. Since Slavs appear between the Balts and Iranics/Sarmats.

At one point everything from Baltic sea to Moscow was Baltic, but by the 4th century AD slavs expanded and assimilated these Balts.

Thank to the God we didnt assimilate Latvians and Lithuanians and can now read their dainas :) Genghis Khan saved them from the Slavs and Balts still keep the memory from about 2000 bc.
