Simply Germanic, yes (continental Germanic, that is) (*)

(Born in Paris of an Alsatian family BTW)

Subnordid + elongated Alpinid (a mixed type that is sometimes hardly distinguishable from the elongated East-Baltid combinations that often show up in Sweden and Finland).

The typical recipe pseudo-Norids of Eastern France and South-Western Germany are made of.

Looks Gallo-Frankish mix. Surname is German, but being born in Paris it's likely he's not pure...

Looks Celto-Germanic with a slightly Med mixture to me.
