I agree, She is much more of an American type, a blending of different European ethnicities, probably British Isles & German, that would be uncommon in Europe. She looks American.

I agree with Æmeric, although on Skadi some were accusing her of Jewish ancestry, therefore this led to Armenoid impressions, but to me she at best is slightly Dinarised from her German ancestry. I don't think she has any Jewish ancestry.

Yeah, or maybe they wanted her to be Jewish. I know for a fact that she is of British Isles & German ancestry. She's basically Old Stock/British with German heritage. How many Old Stock's are part Jewish? They're all indigenous Protestants of Northern European diaspora.

I've been surprised at the number of moderate Democratic women I know who like Sarah Palin & sympathize with her over the treatment she has gotten from the media. These women didn't vote for the McCain-Palin ticket (or any Republicans in 2008) but they might in 2012 after Obama screws things up.

Edit: I mean they would vote for Palin in 2012 not McCain-Palin.

Second-wave feminists: the last of the best. The disgraceful gaggle calling themselves "feminists" now are the ones silent about the way Palin was treated by the media. Hillary Clinton received similar treatment in her time, and Geraldine Ferraro in hers--both democrats, the latter was quite outspoken about how the media treated Palin. Clinton was unable to due to the election circumstances but I think she would have said a good deal about it if the situation allowed.
