I saw this webpage in the official website of Greek ministry of culture;

http://odysseus.culture.gr/a/4/ea40.jsp?age_id=01

It`s entitled as "Chronological chart of Hellenic history and art" and more interestingly, their chart starts from 600.000 BC (!!!). Yes, it`s six digits, 600.000 BC :picard1:, starting with "earliest traces of fire in the caves of Chalkidiki". So we learned that the Greeks invented fire in 600.000 BC, praise be upon them :D

Anyway, it continues to show examples of "hellenic history" from stone and bronze age but when i fast forward to Ottoman era, i see nothing at all. It`s been named as "Post-Byzantine era". Apparently, they even refuse to name it properly. There are pictures for all the historical periods and there is a link for "Ottoman monuments" too but when i click on it, this message appears; "There are no available objects..." (!!!)

So, there is nothing left from 500 years of Ottoman era in Greece? OR it`s because they destroyed it all? but i know that there are some Ottoman era monuments in Greece today, like the movie theater for porn movies in Salonika. It was formerly a library and a mosque during Ottoman era but currently they show porn movies in it with sawdust covered on the ground, so they can safely jerk off inside the mosque.

There have been found human sculls there, so even if the ''fire'' part is not something that you can believe, there is sign of life over there.

Einstein, since when ''Ottoman'' counts as Hellenic history?

Why don't you come here and look the monuments yourself instead of posting bullshit?

Chronological chart of Hellenic history and art means history and art of the region we call Hellas=Greece Onur, not that it was the nation of Hellenes/Greeks who did all of that. As for the rest of your argument the Ottomans left nothing of value here, it is crystal clear

Damage, decay and cinder. Though we shouldn't also forget Turkey's greatest invention...the Turkish toilet.

Those that are not Greeks and yet browsing Greek pages, or even bother to read an answer in a Greek-related thread :heh:
