We've been working through the feedback we have received on the feature so far - a reminder that if you're on the beta, go ahead and provide your feedback directly from the tools on the page or via the email address provided in the message you received.

A couple of questions/concerns from the thread I can address here, particularly for @davidski and @Maureen:

- The X chromosome will be included in the new version of Ancestry Painting.

- All customers, regardless of what platform your analysis was completed on, will have access to the feature upgrade and all of its functionality.

- Among other things, we are currently working on help text that provides background and additional details for each population referenced in the new feature.

While we won't be adding individuals to the beta at this time, we should be able to provide more updates as we get closer to our launch date. As always, your patience is appreciated.

I trust that this thread will remain polite and on topic in the meantime.

Looking up the family tree right now, to see whos on the X chromosome. It's abit of a mix.

England 3/13 (1 Cumbria Border & 2 Northumberland Border)
