Just an aside regarding lips - my fiance has very full lips but has no known non-European ancestry (English, Scottish, German and Belgian). I think full lips are quite a precarious marker for non-white ancestry.

On the contrary, the classification of mixed individuals is, for those of us who live in mixed societies, quite a useful exercise. The way I see it, becoming skilled at classification is most useful in allowing one to get a rough idea about the ancestral makeup of those who surround oneself.
