From the Hindu perspective, duality takes place when a break with unity occurs. Then one must struggle to restore unity. Like Arjuna, the sacred warrior.

One must fight injustice and those who violate the laws of Dharma! A true Holy war is a battle for order and justice, not the manifestation of chaotic and frenzied madness so much enjoyed by the Dionysian rock musician! Those who trepass the law represent the forces of disorder and chaos. Unless they are brought under control they threaten everything. They will pull us all down with them. Sooooo...to do nothing is to invite destruction. And this is just what the modern world is now doing.

War is an integral part of human nature. Its nothing more than a projection of our own territorial nature as a whole. If "war" is the only way to protect and preserve one's own territory; then, it is necessary to ensure a better tomorrow. Every organism has aggression for a reason; to protect oneself or for retaliation against a perceived threat. It is an invaluable trait we should accept and embrace for what it is. It is better to be a person with some backbone, than a passive one.

I think some times it is. If you have to kill for greater good, war is welcome.

It exists and it can be used effectively. The only real questions worth asking, as usual in most other affairs, is why and how.

War is justified only if the purpose is to bring democracy in a country

What is important to understand from this particular chapter of history, is that puerile rhetoric can be enough to direct the masses, provided they are ignorant enough and oblivious to the real facts. This particular take was quite mediocre nonetheless, and it's no surprise that in a matter of years, deep cracks are starting to show and the elite has had to readdress the issue several times over, without ever finding a long-lasting replacement as a solution.

It's the nature of the Republic manifesting itself: The use of decay and cognitive dissonance to secure even higher short-term enjoyment, eventually affects even the highest levels of the regime. Their mediocrity is fitting proof.

War by proxies has proven to be much cheaper both economically and politically, than direct military strikes.

But as effective?
