Actually I have been Member of quiete a few Greek Forums. Even before I did Genetic Testing. Always felt close to Greeks, Greece, Greek Culture. Have been Admirer. i know it since a few months that i have greek ancestry but didnt came up with it, i also have greek haplogroup E-V13 (macedonian and mycenaens) but didnt came up with it. you looked probably at the loose comparison. at 1gp you cant know it properly. it means he has 1 grandparent from this country while 3 grandparents from another. got it? default = 4 grandparents from same country. also default is 7.5cm while loosest is 5cm that means you share less large piece of dna with that person.

misunderstanding, for example at 1g everyone can be related with everyone because it means you have 1gp from one country while 3 from another. i could be related with some balkanian who has 1 grandparent from zimbabwea then zimbabwea appears in my list in the 1gp. in the dashboard summary my countries are listed i dont know how they picked those countries from the list. but they did.

Im content with the results yes. Those are all good countries. Im also 100% European (because there are only 3 clusters. Euro/Asian/African). Im curious but a bit worried about new ancestry painting, i look forward but wonder if it will show me as mud

the ancestry finder measures back to 500 years ancestry. so you cant really know if you do have hungarian ancestry like in 1600s or not or in 1700s even except you kept track about every of your ancestor that long ago. also its rather atypical that you as portuguese would have hungarian ancestry, but its typical for me to have greek ancestry because almost everyone else from balkans does. difference.
