I knew them really well, though I was a little kid at the time. I grew up down the road from them in Hackney (east London) and would go over to his nan's house pretty much every other day (where he lived) and would play with his cousins and his bro & sis. I'm about 10 years younger than Stephen so I was young, but I don't ever remember anything being mentioned about them being Jewish, I knew his mum's side of the family very well, only met his father once, so I can't speak for whether he has Jewish ancestry on that side. But from his mother's side I think the whole family was completely English.

Yep, he was nice. He went through a lot though, he seems much more happier now. I only found out a few months ago he was Professor Green now, after we moved away from east London when I was about 9 my mum drifted out of contact with his nan so we gradually stopped coming round. He looked very different to me back then from what I remember, his hair was lighter I think, almost blondish, and I don't really remember him listening to rap, he was into a lot of rock music, and he was very good at skateboarding and rollerblading.
I'd been trying to find them online for ages so I could add them on facebook, but we had forgotten their surname, I finally found them online, and I found Stephen's surname, so I searched 'Stephen Manderson' on google, and only Professor Green stuff came up!! It took me a while to realise it was him and I was in shock!! Because I'd seen Professor Green on tv so many times without a single clue that he was Stephen, who's nan's house I used to go to all the time, and that I knew his family. :eek: I even used to call his nan aunty. She helped me and my mum a lot because we where new to London and she took us out with her grandkids.

Lol, yeah, a lot of guys seem to be a fan of hers :D but the funny thing is, I always remember he had stunning girlfriends, so it suprises me when some people try to hint she is out of his league in anyway or whatever, because he always attracted a lot of girls. He's very different in real life to his rap persona. I think that's why I never realized it was him.
