Unfortunately, yes. It was unrequited. When I had recovered from my infatuation, I analysed my behavior and attitudes and realised that love is a form of mental illness in which the critical and logical faculties are severely impaired, a position which I have held ever since.

Since, I have managed to resist the disease mainly by rigorous application of logic, aided by enlightened self-interest.

actually i think i could be one of the types going blinde in love for a woman. like in seeing nothing else anymore, selling my house, my car, and finally drink me to death if she cheats me or leaves me. i can Picture myself as such. because i had relatively strong crushes already like dreams, frequent thoughts, desires etc. and it was only Internet and i saw her only from Pictures, didnt shared communality with her for a few years, had sex with her, intimacy, touched her, smelled her etc. if i did that, i would be her Soul prisoner within a month. i would be her Little slave nigger.

once i had quiete a strong crush, i cant say love because i didnt kissed her or touched her, she was a classmate and we wrote a paper together. i was so blind, i didnt even let her clean the table because i felt it was not right that she dirties her Hands. i tried to write the paper alone so she wont have much to work on. and i looked at her and didnt noticed anything around me anymore. i could not put away my stare from her. maybe that was love? but i still think it was just a crush. it was still not the real love, i never kissed her, touched her, etc. we were just colleagues.

Sadly never really. Which means I felt affection for a person several times but I think love is reciprocal and based on a mutual feeling, which never actually happened.
