It has nothing to do with her pigmentation. She'd even be considered light, she has medium/light brown hair and green eyes. Just her eyes are a bit exotic. But she's still Bulgarian looking for the other things.

Probably. On thiese pictures her hair even appears light brown, but it is more medium brown I guess.

I think that i know better than you which is more typical.

Jana Yaneva's features are very exotic, especially the eye/mouth area. Nina Dobrev for example is very typical, unlike Jana.

It seems the first pic is where she has a weird smile on and it makes her eyes strange.

She reminds me a bit of dandelion btw. Hence I think she fits better in Greece than Bulgaria.
