A Bruenn who has had his upper face(esp. orbits) broaden by either or both Boreby/Phalian admixture. The pseudo-epicanthic folds are caused by robustness. A friend mine has the exact same eye region, this could be attributed to cold/windy climates.

I study encryption and comp security, I frequent a forum which he once used. According to his stated dates in interviews our presence was concurrent at times. Just an interesting piece of trivia

I have a nephew who looks similar, especially about the upperface & eyes. I know what people would say if I posted him for classification. Interestingly my nephews paternal ancestry goes back to Ulster & to Scotland. He has a Reivers (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Reiver) surname.

At first glance he appears Lappoid, but not so sure now.

That 'Lappoid' look has a way of showing up among some natives of the British Isles. Maybe brought in by the Vikings? Or just a variation of Brunn?

Looks like a more robust version of Morten Harket

Over at Skadi, someone said Harket had apparent Lappish admixture. I would post a link but that thread appears to have been removed . I wonder what Chap would have to say about McKinnon, since he falls outside the boundaries of "Mongoliformed Influenced Europe"?:wink

Interesting...

The lappish influence would have been the easiest guess but it seems that his features are somewhat disproportionate to his face and hence the false lappish impression.

Maybe he has some mild endocrinological syndrome?

Somewhere between Dalofaelid and Borreby. His weird-looking eyes are just individual variation, "pseudo-Mongoloid", whereas Morten Harket definitely has some Lappid/Eastbaltid influence IMHO.

Morten Harket look like a regular East-Norwegian.
