You who are an aircraft lover can post here your favorite models or your own pictures in case you're a spotter. I will start off by posting the last aircraft I have flown: the double-decked, ~500 pax., Airbus A380, last February, from Paris-CDG to New York-JFK and back. I made the detour from Lisbon to Paris purposely to fly that one plane.

I sat on the upper deck of the aircraft in Voyageur class (Economy). I was happy about the inflight service and entertainment system. Even so, in economy class it didn't really feel much different of other experiences I had had before on other wide-bodied jets (such as the Airbus A330). It felt tight when seated and not much more of leg/room space than on other models.

I especially enjoyed the cabin's lighting effects, changing from yellowish tones during daylight and fading into very relaxing blueish/purplish dim light during nighttime.

The soundproofing was also better than average for other aircraft models. The food was better than average in comparison to other companies and even to Air France's medium-haul flights inside Europe and I got a special flute of champagne upon reaching cruise altitude, which is always nice.
The barding procedure was very expeditious both at CDG and JFK. In CDG they had three jetways to board the plane, which was good.
Overall rating: 4 out of 5, because I expected more nevertheless. Maybe in other classes it might be really more rewarding than in economy. As I noticed, Premium Voyageur class had much more space between seats and the LCD screens were way bigger, besides other pampers. But the price is almost twice that of Voyageur...
