Hungarian lawmakers reject Holocaust denial law (http://jta.org/news/article/2009/07/01/1006256/hungarian-lawmakers-reject-anti-holocaust-denial-law)
BUDAPEST (JTA) -- Hungary’s lawmakers rejected constitutional amendments to make Holocaust denial a punishable offense.

Some local Jewish community leaders believe that Monday's vote secured the first parliamentary victory for Jobbik, a rapidly rising local neo-Nazi movement widely predicted to win several seats in the national elections due within a year.

The proposals, put forth by the ruling Socialist caretaker government, attracted fewer than half the votes needed to adopt a constitutional amendment

How can they be so intelligent?

This is a long struggle there in hungary.

1) The communist leaders sent there by the ussr were all jews
2) the uprising was anti-semitic before anti-communism
3) in recent protests against the government, israeli and slovak (hates hungarians) troops were sent in to crush the protests

Hungary should sue Israel for war crimes commited under Stalin.

Good for them. I find it completely ridiculous that there exists countries where it is punishable to denies anything even if it is true or not, conform or die mentality has no place in a democracy. well it has a place in a democracy but not in a society where individual freedom is seen as an ideal.

Still some common sense. This is a very important issue which regards free speech. Once people were burned at the stake or imprisoned for espousing different dogma than the ruling one. It should never repeat itself again.

Holocaust denial denial has faced extremely heavy criticism throughout the years from both believers of the Holocaust and Holocaust deniers themselves. Many have claimed that David Irving does in fact exist, though no evidence has been brought forward to substantiate this claim.
It has been extremely difficult for supporters of Holocaust denial to provide evidence that they exist, as do their beliefs. And beyond that, it's difficult to prove that their claims are as widespread as many believe them to be as Holocaust denial deniers don't believe in their beliefs to begin with.

Holocaust deniers have stated that Holocaust denial deniers simply attempt to "ignore" Holocaust denial's ideas and those affiliated with them while subconsciously recognizing them. This however, was proven untrue by Dr. Greenstein of the Open University of Israel, who stated, "Who?" when asked about what he thought regarding Holocaust deniers.

Irving's Theory
David Irving, who has only made brief comments regarding Holocaust denial denial stated that some deny that the denial Holocaust denial deniers deny is actually legitimate denial, and that they are actually attempting reverse psychology through the denial of denying and absurdism. Certainly, the denial of denial is an effect tactic of denial which can solidify initial claims which the denial being denied rose out of, yet they can also harm these claims undeniably. Of course, to Holocaust denial deniers, Irving doesn't exist, so his statements have fallen on deaf ears because nobody understands them.

Criticism of Holocaust Denial Denial

In response to holocaust denial deniers, a growing movement calling themselves the holocaust denial denial deniers refuse to believe that holocaust denial deniers exist and that although the holocaust did exist, certain aspects of denial in relation to the holocaust, including but not limited to, the denial of it's denial and any other movement with the moniker 'denial' attached to it may not exist, although the choosing of which groups to deny the existence of is somewhat arbitrary according to critics of 'the whole stupid thing', who themselves are facing growing criticism from the 'I'm Confused' movement.

The Holocaust was supposedly the systematic extermination of 10 million people, 6 million of them being Jews, by the Nazis. However, if one looks at the evidence it is clear that those death tolls are total bullshit, and for many reasons. For starters, if 10 Million people were killed by gassing and then burning them, it would leave about 60,000 Tons of human ash deposits across Europe, which haven't been found. Secondly, even that it is a well-known fact that the Germans are the most efficient people ever, even with the Jew power and machinery they had, it would have been impossible to gas and burn even 1.5 million people in the time-span history says the Holocaust happened. The motives behind the Holohoax are to allow the Jews to get away with pretty much anything and earn the world's sympathy as-well as jewgold. Trolling opportunities abound as well, as the easiest way to troll a Jew is tell them the truth about the Holocaust - it didn't happen.

HALIFAX -- Politicians are scrambling to put a brave face on an ugly situation at a Halifax recreation centre.

Sonja Power, 17, was on the cusp of earning her black belt in Aikido at a Halifax dojo when a new man joined the class. He refused to be in contact with women or to spar with any of the female students.

Power and the other women were told to stay on one side of the room and not to approach the Muslim man to respect his faith.

"I felt like a second class citizen, that I was so disgusting and unworthy that this man doesn't even want to interact with me," Power told QMI Agency. "It doesn't make any sense, why would something you choose, your religion, trump something I'm born with, my gender, we wouldn't let a religion trump someone's race."

The incident happened more than a year ago and Power's mother, Michele Walsh, said she has contacted every level of government but was ignored. She said the sensei told her to "get used to" the gender separation.
