Hey there, everyone. I am new to this forum and I have no idea as to how to navigate around here just yet so I was just going to post this for the heck of it. My names is Christopher Clark and I am of Irish-Cajun descent on my father's side and of Danish descent on my mother's side.. Growing up in Denmark people have long told me that I looked a lot different from the average person, so I was wondering if you guys could classify me anthropologically. :) My Y-DNA is r1b1a2 as well.

(Pictures coming in next post.)

Ask one of the mod's to move your thread to personal taxonomy. This way only members can view your thread.

I don't really mind. :P Who are the mods I should ask?

Hey, it seems that Danish population, in majority they would be classified stereotypically as Nordid-Borreby in Anthropological terms.

Now regarding you, IMHO you look Atlanto-Nordid spectrum (more on the Nordid side) and the interesting part is your CM component , that looks to be ÖstEuropid influenced. You would probably pass in North Eastern Europe, like Baltic states and Finland , possible in some parts of Norway too.

You look very un-southern tbh.

Your CM component is borreby but is more robust than the average borreby, you have remarkable CM features browridge, cheekbones and prognathism and lips, the other component in auragnoid but i don't identify it, i suppose is atlantid

For the most part yes, but his jaw/chin doesn't look Finnish at all, I've also never seen a Finn with mandibular prognathism.

This sounds reasonable. Atlantid and Borreby.

Thanks for the replies. :) I would personally say that I am of Celtic-Cro-Magnon origin considering my father's and my origin being in Ireland, but like I said.. I have a lot of Cajun admixture -- Cajuns being French people in Louisiana from the central and western France. My paternal family also has very bulky faces with underbites! My mother's family is actually from Bavaria only a few generations back? It just strikes me as odd you're saying that I look Finnish.

Your father could be a "pigmented" Finn. But given there's no link in ancestry, I think that the most likely possibility is that he might have some little Native American ancestry, showing up in his slightly slanted-eyes and mouth.

That is a distinct possibility given the circumstances in French Canada and later in French Louisiana. :) It's amazing how I can look so much different though. Just goes to show how phenotype is really arbitrary. :p

Could you explain to me what auragnoid is? does it account for Atlantid, Mediterranean and Nordid types?

you look to me like a mix of Borreby Faelid and Brunn + Atlantid, I think you would pass in Germany better than anywhere else

Interesting mix though. Best of both worlds I guess. :thumb001:

Yes, Aurignacoid is the correct term.
