The rules are simple; write your own song, record it using vocaroo (for example) and subsequently post it here.

I'll start with a tune I made up today!

I've written many songs that sing & play on the guitar.

I'll have to have a look at this vocaroo and get back to you...

Good idea though!

Edit: Just listened to yours--very nice, mate. :thumb001:

Awesome idea for a thread. If only i could play an instrument...I might have to wing it.

Just me trying some slapping with distortion. Bass does not really sound good on lo fi and without drums.

Just more riffs, improvisation. If structured better with drums and some additional fills and riffs, could be an actual song. I think I kept it playing for too long. Would sound awesome with a bass and really slow drums.

Another one, done with my new pedal, 2 layers. The looping function is awesome.

And also another one, 3 layers:

I went for content rather than quality; the former being abundant, the latter being severely lacking. It was in one setting, improvised and with a poor microphone to record it all - a nightmare amalgation. Excuse the failures and inconsistencies along with my poor singing, which belies partially in me being ill and hesitant. I can post the lyrics if necessary.
