Media become instrument of Gay Pride (http://www.svd.se/opinion/ledarsidan/artikel_3291591.svd)

Commenting on the Gay Pride festival that took place in Stockholm on the weekend Göran Skytte points to parallels between the fight for the rights of homosexuals, bisexuals and transvestites and the so-called '68 Movement: "As always, it was interesting to observe hour after hour and day after day for a whole week the parade of people who in the glare of ample media coverage constantly claimed they were oppressed and persecuted. Back then as now: the media utterly capitulated. At the time the editorial department were in the hands of left-wing journalists (I was one of them) who saw it as their task to lead a class struggle. All those who made any attempt to oppose the demands to make Sweden a socialist society were 'fascists', 'bourgeois' and 'reactionaries' and were silenced. Today some of the media are like spokespersons for the homosexual, bisexual and transvestite movement: Anyone who dares to question something is automatically stamped with the label 'homophobic'. I've even heard the term 'hetero-fascist'. I personally am relieved and thankful that this time I can keep my distance from the most politically correct subject of the moment." (01/08/2009)

Combine this with the excessive (and hypocritical, pro-Islamic) feminism, Sweden seems to be one very sick society. :033102st: What is needed is more common sense ... and testosterone.

the scandinavian countries are all democracies?

is sweden the only one
in which the majority of the voters
prefer this genre of politics?

is the preponderance of nord folk
self-hating and self-destructive?

No man on earth can handle a Swedish woman. I should know. But keep dreaming, son. ;)

I don't know about Sweeden men and Sweeden women, but I know they are quite crazy for Serbian men (Montenegrin men are not interested for them, too much). But Serbian men just use them for fun.

I know what kind of "ladies", you are talking about. And believe me: I would never touch them. This would make me lose the last bit of my self-respect.

I wonder why Serbian men like them so much. Ah, I know..! Because they can get them, that's it! :thumb001:

Maybe, but not half as sexist as those who think that women do not even deserve to get the vote -- i.e. have less fundamental rights than men. ;) Sorry Æmeric, but in the mysogynist stakes, you definitely take the cake! :cupgold0:

But the franchise should not be a right. It should be a duty, an obligation... just like conscription.

I find it hyprocritical that you would espouse the typical pc line about gender equality & then blame societal ills (in Sweden, one of the most gender equal nations in the world) on rampant feminism. Who do you think the core supporters of the feminists are?

I'm not blaming societal ills on feminism ... rather, feminism is the product of an ill society -- not the other way around.

And about espousing "typical pc lines" ... I don't care if something is considered pc or not. I follow my mind. Sometimes it would be considered pc by some, but that doesn't mean it isn't right.

Stoping traffic for a day to indulge in your hubris while dressing up as... I don't know what, will not help improve your reputation-- in fact it may even abase it.

You mean its. :p

No, I mean it's - as it refers to the topic (feminism), the 's implies possession, in this case the new thread on feminism:).

I'm afraid you are incorrect in this case. :) "its" is the correct usage, it is acting as a possessive adjective in the sentence.

"Its" is a distinct word like "his" or "her". It doesn't need an apostrophe as it already indicates possession. "It's" with an apostrophe is a contraction of "it is" although in colloquial, spoken English it could also be a contraction of "it has".

Some of our new "country men" are also taxpayers, and even if they are a much higher percentage of our population, this doesn't mean that we have to accept them.

What is wrong with the homosexuals at the "gay pride" is that they believe they can tear down normal peoples' instinctive barriers by acting like insane, half naked clowns in the streets. You see, most people feel a physical disgust by looking at this. It is not a matter of opinions pro et contra. It is a matter of changing healthy peoples' nature towards the decadent and unnatural. That's what is wrong with the homo's at the gay pride.

You are right not denying their argument but they are a small minority that I do not bother me.

Now what the author of the article is criticizing the sensationalism is done by the SVT around it. Though SVT is already corrupt and immoral that's nothing new.

I used to watch SVT. I once had a crush on Lotta Bouvin Sundberg. :D

Now I wonder if any other TV-station in the world can arrange "debates" between people who absolutely agree on every political aspect like the SVT. SVT is even more politically correct than Danish DR. All political opposition is denied access to the cameras. I enjoy debating programmes, but the Swedish ones are boring me to death.

Back to topic:

Perhaps some of you know that we just had the "priviledge" to host the gay "special olympics" in Copenhagen. Any retarded person can have his own "special" olympics these days, so I am not surprised. Now, not all Danes like gays, so there was sometimes a violent opposition against it all. And Danish television continued to focus on the opposition, portraying them as bullies. And the gay athletes were promoted to Kings of the Gods and Decadence.

Fortunately we were spared from watching the sports. They are so awkward.
