Youtube videos are not allowed as signatures either. They slow down some people's computers a lot, especially if there are 10 posts in a thread and everyone has Youtube signatures.

An option would always be to limit the width of signatures to let's say 400 pixels. That way, people who favour signatures the size of a theatrical poster can elect to argue with forum software and you folks at the top get a quiet day. :thumb001:

Can I please just bring this to everyone's attention again.

There have seen some complaints from mobile users that large signatures containing big pictures and large gifs are really problematic for them. Please take into consideration people who browse the forum on their mobile phones and those who have slower computers.

As moderation, from now we reserve the right to remove large signatures when we see them.

I have talked about this many times, and don't have time to contact people individually anymore regarding this.

If you have more than one image in your signature, or an image so large it has to be resized, or a YouTube embed, staff will remove it without notice. So if you see your signature removed, you know what has happened.

Staff - could you please help in removing oversized signatures. It is extremely annoying.
