I just kind of stumbled upon this forum recently, and was positively impressed with the apparent quality of folks posting here. Apricity seems to take a "higher road" with regard to our common aims and concerns than some of its contemporaries.

Doing my part for the biological survival and the spiritual elevation of our folk is what I consider most important in life (as opposed to "interests"). Less heavy interests would include health/fitness (running, mountain biking, weights, sports science, diet), music (good stuff of various genres - whether listening or hacking it out myself), family time, reading works that make my brain all stingey - nothing too extraordinary.

I'm not a big poster. My practice is to only throw in my two cents if I have something worthwhile to add, so I wont be clogging your forum with threads of neo-con rantings admonishing you to boycott this and that, or whining about "Can you believe what Obama did this time!!!".

I may start a poll weighing in the sexiness of Carol Channing however.

All the best, and congrats on being part of a forum that has so far been a much-needed breath of fresh air.

Weigh in and when you fancy it, mate. Don't be shy. We all could do with being offended and having our jowls shaken from time to time. :D

Welcome to the Apricity. :D Make yourself at home. You have certainly earned it. :thumb001:

Welcome.

Why the name of Andorran?

Thanks! It's for a town that I'm pretty fond of (no, not the actual country of Andorra - I've never been there, though it looks nice in pictures).

And thanks to everyone else too for your kind welcomes!

Welcome! Yeah, I thought it might be something like that, I doubt anyone would name himself Andoran because of the country, it is complicated to answer why :D Welcome to forum!
