My first impression: rather "Southern" phenotype (forehead, hair texture and all that). I'd say Mediterranid with a Corded strain and Cromagnoid influences.

His hair is too long and it kind of falls on his forehead covering most of it, it may not be as short as it seems. I agree with what you said about the texture. Maybe a dinaroid influence at work like B-W said, it also explains the more salient nose (!?) To me the bust looks like a Nordid altered by Faelid and Dinarid.

Exactly. What National-Socialists did was to appropriate local mix of Aryan-Faelid which is very typical Germanic to the notion of Aryan. That's because purer Aryan Germans (ScandoNordid) tend to have that soft feminized look which does not inspire strength and respect. At that time, there was no consensus how Aryans looked like and where they came from. The fact they mostly occurred in Germanic peoples gave credence to the idea of a "Nordid" race whose epicenter was Germanic urheimat (S Sweden, Denmark).
