How would Belov be classified?

He'd been classified as North-Pontid/Orientalid on HBF. I also believe he received an East-Med classification. He's 1/32nd Greek. Not that should have any significant influence on his phenotype.

Definitely a Tatar appearance... We even call that type of beard/facial hairline "tatarska".

As much as I'd like not to admit it I think it's pretty obvious he's got Tatar admixture.

His real surname is Potkin, by the way. He changed to Belov which was his grandmother's maiden-name. Not sure of the origins of the surname Potkin though.

He chose Belov for a good reason as it means "White" in Russian. And his Whiteness is doubtful. I admit it. His brother Vladimir goes by Basmanov.

It seems the Potkin (Belov / Basmanov) brothers aren't the only DPNI members of questionable origin.
