I used to only drink amaretto straight, until some friends introduced me to amaretto + Southern Comfort, a mixed drink commonly known by the name of a "Sicilian kiss".

Seems quite strict. Letting you have the occasional glass of wine or weak beer is the best thing to do to be honest. Won't negatively affect you, and you will be a bit accustomed to it when/if you do go out drinking.

Yeah right. This is Australia. In Greece, while it is forbidden to sell alcohol to teens under 16 years old, almost everyone starts drinking at the age of 13-14 and parents usually know about it... My grandfather gave me tsipouro for the first time at the age of 10 :)
