Well that writing of Lundius I do not know how true is it,lol.
Think it is based on Gotica of Jordanes where dacians are said to be same as goths,but do not really think this was true either.
Is true that today romanians do not have too many paternal lines in common with today italians,so I think is pretty clear we are not descending from old latins.
Paternal lines in Romania are quite different as you move from South Romania to Moldavia,in Moldavia I2din+R1A1 makes about 60% of paternal lines (for example in Bessarabia there is about 30% R1A1,in Moldavia from Romania about 20% and about 40% I2 din).
In South Romania there is a higher percentage of E-V13 and of J2.
In Transylvannia there is a higher percentage of R1B clades and so on.
