Richard III (2 October 1452 – 22 August 1485) was King of England for two years, from 1483 until his death in 1485 in the Battle of Bosworth Field. He was the last king of the House of York and the last of the Plantagenet dynasty. His defeat at Bosworth Field, the decisive battle of the Wars of the Roses, is sometimes regarded as the end of the Middle Ages in England.

Looks very western European, difficult to classify IMO lol. Looks quite French to me.

Just watched the program on it, fascinating.

Apparently his MtDNA is/was some form of J.

Atlanto-Keltic (i.e. Atlantid+Keltic Nordid) + Cromagnid.

This is an extraordinary historical and archeological dicovery, that makes light on King Richard's actual back deformity (he had a terrible scoliosis!) and about the modality of his death on Bosworth Field. Despite he was depicted (probably partially unjustly) like an evil man and a sort of monster by Tudor propagandists (including Shakespeare), I hope he will deserve a worthy royal burial.

I agree. Whatever people's opinions, he was a King and should be treated as such.

Keltic Nordid + Borreby, and the Keltic Nordid has an Atanto-Mediterranid component which is sometimes present in Keltic types.

Richard III was the greatest slayer of knights the world has ever seen.

Northwestern type, an offshoot of the Atlanto-Mediterranean. (Nordic-Mediterranean + Alpine).
