We are an icehockey nation and belong to the 12 best nations of the world which are going to participate at the Olympics 2014

It is easy to explain. It is the only province where icehockey is Volkssport # 1
Long time it was exclusivly played in Villach and Klagenfurt

Sounds reasonable yes. Well here it is roughly similar. Only two good clubs there are, are both from ex-Gorenjska altho be careful many ppl don't know Ljubljana is actually part of historic Gorenjska. xD Sadly financial problems destroyed the other good club from Jesenice.

Our common league also paid dividends. It raised the level significantly. Both teams qualified for the World Cup and Olympics.

Imagine a joint team. We would play for the title ;)

Mostly Sub-Nordic and Noric.

I can't classify them, but I know their look, and I would immediately identify them as Hockey players - except for maybe #3

Growing up in Canada and being surrounded by many hockey playing guys, I can definitely say they have a unique look, and as these pictures show it's universal. All the cold on their skin, constant dehydration, etc must be the cause of the pallor, and all the cardio must cause a sort of pre-mature aging, and of course the heavy breathing can cause 'runners cheeks'. A lot also have a unique barrow shaped head, which is probably from the growth hormones
