Plus it would be more accurate measuring young Adults.

Here's percentage of slums in Latin America, my parents country is close to that of MExico which has a larger gdp and still has many of its population living in slums 15% as comapre to DR (around 17% of total population) which is low if you compare with the rest like Argentina or Brazil. Note this was back in 2005 conditions have improved now for the better.
