I need to, eventually, see Bellini's "Il Pirata" performed in Sicily, and then go and see his tomb in the Cathedral of Catania. It's one of the few I haven't been to yet.
He was our greatest composer, and died very young. He had a lot of potential. Anyway, Il Pirata is his only opera that is set in Sicily.
