I don't believe there are aliens flying them but there are objects that people can't readily identify for sure (not to sound condescending). There are more rational explanations to explain things than there are the chances some aliens are hovering over us.

People have seen UFOs for thousands of years. It's pretty clear intelligent life has visited us in the past (every single ancient culture documents this). Scientists think there are between 10 sextillion and 1 septillion stars in the Universe so if only a small fraction have life and of this only a small fraction are intelligent it still leaves many many lifeforms. It's narcassistic to believe we're the only intelligent lifeform.

It is said that 99% of photos and videos are fake, but the rest is authentic. There has to be someone out there in that vast universe.

Unsure. I've never seen a UFO but I find it difficult to just write off so many eyewitness accounts as hoaxes or swamp gas or whatever.

One of the major causes for people to think they were abducted by aliens is something called sleep paralysis. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sleep_paralysis Before people became aware of what it was, you would see them on talk shows saying they've been teleported out of their house and anally probed (when you get sleep paralysis it makes your butt clench tightly for whatever reason and you can feel like you are levitating).

There are probably similar reasonable yet strange explanations for what people see.
