Argentinia - my brother just came back from there too, he enjoyed it a lot.

Try Sao Paulo, Brazil. Maybe you would like Caracas, Venezuela or Buenos Aires, Argentina.

If you want a modern country and European-like geography with an exotic touch, prefer Chile.

I've wanted to visit Chile ever since I read The House of the Spirits :P Also I saw that movie that was Oscar nominated about Pinochets plebiscite in 1988 and it seemed like a very interesting place to visit.

Also Argentina seems nice.

Argentina hands down. Largest hispanic american country, you can go wine-tasting around Mendoza, enjoy the sea in Buenos Aires, or go horse-back riding in the Pampas.

Women are on average far more beautiful than in Andean countries and the architecture has a French neoclassical influence that renders it quite pleasing to the eye.

My family emigrated to Buenos Aires before the United States, so after the USA and Italy, Argentina is where my biases lie.

But I'll say it anyway. Argentina is great from everything I've heard from relatives. :p

I've heard good things of argentina, best steaks and best looking girls in the world.
But i've heard girls in argentina are the most dificult impossible to sleep with. This presents a problem since i have no game to begin with:D

If you are looking for culture and nightlife go for Argentina.

If what you looking for is sun and beaches go to Cartagena, Colombia.

If you are looking for history and ancient ruins, go for Peru.

The South of Argentina seems to be the place to go for outdoor type activities, i would love to do some fishing there, it looks beautiful! Does anybody here go fishing in Argentina? Id love to catch a Patagonian toothfish :)

I have only been to Cuba, so I do not know a lot. I'd recommend Cuba, though. Just don't visit Varadero, there breaks the spirit of Cuba :p

I would visit Argentina or chile.

You can visit both. If you go down south you can cross the frontier even in boat.
