While he does indeed look upper-class in many ways (although Ralph Fiennes is a better example of an upper class actor) the problem is he's decidedly middle-class; his parents were State high-school teachers. Cary Elwes is a good American example of upper-class Anglo-Saxon features (coming from a very old English family).

Anyone with money can be a socialite in today's world. There still exists, though time succeeds usually at stamping it out, evidence of "breeding." It is one of the horrifying realities of mankind. With it first said that "being a good person" within one's self is of tantamount value and supreme worth, one must next wonder whether there is any fact as to whether "better man" can be bred. We speak of physical inheritance from forbears. Are the "better bred" born healthier and with "better genes?" Controversial territory.

What I am asserting is that there are physical "attributes" in the facial features, and elsewhere, like the human frame, etc., that distinguish the upper classes, particularly in the Anglo-sphere, where social status has been largely preserved.

In England a lot of the socialites are from old families and go to the "right schools". If you look at Tattler there's plenty of this sort of Anglo-Norman upper-classes still left.

I actually have a ethnic dutch friend that looks a lot like him. The Normans were Franks mixed with Danish which is basically Germanic and Germanic (maybe some Celtic ie Gaul). I know there were some Celts in Turkey but I've never seen a Turk look like him except for one or two television actors that are probably descended from Slavic jainnasaries anyway. His skin time is from tanning.
