I suggest this website to everyone who interest on public transportation or history of Budapest or just like see old and contemporary pictures about nice cities.

"One of my most ambitious projects is a series about the "lost" tram routes of Budapest. It started out as a free-time occupation but turned into a kind of historic dissertation. Originally I just looked up a few old photos and took photographs of the same place in the present, but then then the material (facts, dates and figures) got bigger and bigger. "

This is the best bus all of the World! Heavy strong indestructible construction. These ones are operating on Budapest streets nowadays too. The oldest ones have made in the early 70s.

Indeed very strong bus but i think their main made purpose is to be against to comfortable transportation :D I heard if you use these bus' twice a day for a total a hour you dont need to go a gym to built muscles, and you may hear buzzing or ringing in the ears :)

I guess there are more than 500 of these just in Istanbul, most of them are modernized.. Other cities have these as well.. New bus' airconditioners are pita, this bus is pretty spacious esp in summers..
