In the deadliest single attack, two booby-trapped lorries exploded before dawn in the village of Khaznah, east of the restive northern Iraqi city of Mosul, leaving 28 people dead and 155 wounded.
The massive blasts levelled 35 houses and gouged deep craters into the ground of the prosperous village of 3,000, home to members of the small Shabak community, a sect of Kurdish origin.
Falah Ridha, a 23 year old nurse wounded in the attack, said he was the only survivor of 12 people in his family home.* A car bomb in Baghdad's southwestern Shurta district killed two people and wounded 18 others, police said.

The Sunni are the descendants of the original inhabitants of the Tigris Euphrates Valley, their recorded tribal and family ancestry dates back past the time of the prophets to Adam, most often Sunni Mosques are built and maintained by a single extended family. The Shia are every one else, the Sunni are often indisposed to handle the manual chores, so they have been bringing in workers from other places for centuries.
These workers attend to their religious affairs in Mosques that are in working class areas of the city, that have become known as Shia Mosques. At no time has war or conflict between the two sectors of society been permitted either under secular law, or within the strictures of Islam, and all parties are aware that murder is met with speedy and deadly retaliation according to the instruction in The Koran.
C4 American military explosive has been in the gruesome car bombings and in scores of other bombings world wide, while cell phones have been used in just as many cases to detonate the explosives.
Car wreckage in Iraq at one car bomb site in 2004, was identified by an engine number as being from a car that had been stolen in the United States years before. An Iraqi survivor told how he had signed on as an American sponsored Police Recruit, supplied with a vehicle and a mobile telephone and told to drive to the market square then call base, when he did so, he had left the car for better phone reception, it blew up. Suppose the deadly bombs that greeted then killed Benhazir Bhutto last year, were similarly American sponsored.
Both Sunnis and Shia say the bombings are a plot to incite sectarian violence at the behest of John Negroponte, US Deputy Secretary of State.
The former President of Italy went public that he was involved in US sponsored false flag terror attacks, that were carried out throughout Europe, that were subsequently blamed on spurious terror organizations. He asserts that Mossad, Israel’s intelligence service and the CIA did 911, he says everybody knows.
