Classify Jon Feltheimer (And a question about Jewish appearance)

I've more recently noticed, that a typical Jewish feature seems to be the eyes. They have a mouse-like, sneaky sort of look, many of them, and in some it is more noticeable, Jon Feltheimer being one. Why is this?

Other examples would be Steven Spielberg -

They all have this particular 'look.' It's hard to describe, but their eyes are just so mousy and piercing.

Is there a genetic reason for this, as many Jews have this exact look?

I think you'll find in Spielbergs case it's his classes making his eyes look smaller. He looks normal without glasses although he does look slightly Turanid;

Hmmm, you may have a point, but he still sort of has those eyes.

Similar, sort of, but not identical. I know what you mean though.

Anyone else care to offer an opinion? I genuinely would like to know why so many Jewish people have "those eyes?!?!"

Ashkenazi Jews are a bottleneck population eg in the Middle Ages there were only a few 10,000s so that most Askenazim share common genes. The eyes you seem interested in are Hooded or Turanid and rather small so many Jews share traits because of the relatively small gene pool.

That said there's plenty of non-Jews with beady or hooded eyes and plenty of Jews with large eyes.
