YEREVAN, MARCH 29, ARMENPRESS: France has the biggest volume of investments in Armenia during 2012, thus, 30 percent of the whole sum. As reports Armenpress, in accordance with data of National Statistical Service, Russia and Canada also have big investments in Armenia.

French investments in 2012 Armenian economy have been doubled, reaching USD 230,4 millions.

As economist Tatul Manaseryan has noted in the interview with Armenpress, France’s interest in Armenian economy sector is explained by several factors, including European integration of Armenia, involvement of Armenia in Francophone system and activity of Armenian community in France. As a core factor Manaseryan highlighted the “success stories” of investing companies which promote the investments of other companies in Armenia.

Azerbaijans trade with France is at least 10 times higher.

What exactly do they mean by 'economic sector', sounds pretty vague.

I wonder if it means that they want to join the gangsters and crooks who have a tight control over Armenias economy.
