This from the 12-marker test. My closest matches under r1a1a is r1a1a1g* (M458).
The shaded orange denotes possible subclades that would require further testing. It is most likely I am either L260 or M344 since I get the most matches with 'g*' I may test further at some point.

How long did it take to receive your results?
Did you do family finder?

I tested both my grandparents with FTDNA, grandmother for family finder and grandfather for family finder + Y-DNA67. FTDNA received both the kits 2 days ago.

I ordered the 12-Marker Y-DNA test for $39 but didn't do Family Finder. The kit arrived within a week and once I sent it back, I got my results within 3 or so weeks. I might test the subclades at some point, as I am curious to zero in on the specific population/location.

Hey, thanks for the tip. I'll look into this but thought it was only available for those who have gone beyond the 12-marker test.

You fit the bill, just order 37 marker test to have a basis and ask staff for the possible SNP's. They will probably encourage you to order at least 67 marker test - if you can't afford it at that moment, be stubborn and order certains SNP's they recommend (like M458 etc.). It minimizes the costs very much.
