I am trying something new--It may not work.

I am trying to mix high endurance with high strength

My Goals- drop 30LBS
Complete a Sprint Triatholon
Maintain Bench at 420
Maintain 225lbs at 40 reps (Bench)
Complete a pump and Run

is this possible-what do you think

it is possible but as far as maintaing strength on a cut will be quite difficult but not impossible.... in order to do this you are going to have to incorporate powerlifting or strength training so keep your reps from 3-5 but do not go to failure. I have been on my cut for 3 months and I actually have been gaining strength using powerlifting style of training, so you might lose muscle but I don't think you will lose strength but I don't think you should do much endurance cardio like 30 minutes on the treadmill...sprints are perfect and you will lose weight just by going on a slight caloric defecit such as 300-500 calories below your maintenance...good luck!
