The first time I saw her music video years ago, I thought she looked rather south-eastern European. I know a Turkish, and an Albanian girl who both look a bit like her. I don't know what it is but something about her doesn't look really English to me. She reminds me a bit of British singer Tulisa Contostavlos, who is Greek Cypriot but has a similar look:

I think she probably has a bit of English mixture, but I do think she looks Romany somewhat.
