It's not filthy, there is just lots of STUFF all over. My husband is an artist and he COLLECTS!! :mad:

These little sugar tubes (and these SPECIFICALLY) are my husband's downfall. He has been collecting them obsessively for over 10 years. Obsessive to the point that he avoids coffee shops which don't have them.

Wherever he goes, his collection goes too. Open any drawer, anywhere and there are empty sugar sachets. And throwing them away is forbidden. He has bags and bags and bags full of them. THOUSANDS and THOUSANDS! Conservative estimate is 30 000. In fact, I could wallpaper my entire kitchen and house with them and we'd still have spare!

So imagine Kitchen No.2 with thousands and thousands of sugar sachets added.

I find that there's never enough storage space in the kitchen and we buy too many unneeded things. For example I have 5 different types of food processors and I still go back to chopping vegetables with a knife!

Picture No. 2, i.e. a mess. I'm hoping that a dishwasher which I intend to buy will help the situation, but that will help only with the dishes and pans, not the trash.
