Cheetah only has semi-retractable claws, unlike a leopard or other big cat which has fully retractable claws. It helps them grip when they run.

I have lots of leopard claws. They used to be in fashion in the 60's as pendants.

No. Cheetah must rule the Serengeti. It is wide open grass plains. Here the cheetah can do what it does best, run! Leopard is suited to areas with trees.
