I am not surprised about Uruguay going down the shitter. Our government is doing a terrible job, it's pathetic to even call these pigs our government. Just a bunch of lazy judgmental corrupt idiots. Even though the biggest idiots are those who voted for them. I swear, as soon as I have the choice to do so, I'll pack my bags and move somewhere else, anywhere else.

No place is going the right direction. Let me tell you that...perhaps Australia/NZ or Canada. Iceland too alternatively.

Spain had an increase in unemployment and social cuts in the last year, so the permanence in the same spot is a bit strange.
For Uruguay, there was a big cheap loan system built up with an artificially low dollar, so product consummation must have not come down. Education and life expectancy may have had.
Argentina is on the brink of devaluation, with a paralell dollar twice the value as the official, so to be in the same spot is strange too.
