I agree with your classifications but the point I wanted to stress is that sun exposure can even lead to very tanned skin even among Scandos. So no surprise that most people living in Med countries look more southern than usually during the hot season

Just Swedes, the rest of Scandos + Brits get that ugly burned red skin. At least from what I saw in during my holidays in Greece.

Plenty of Norwegians can tan just as well as Swedes do, especially among East Norwegians.
There are also Swedes who can't tan either, it varies a lot.

She's from Norrbotten (close to the Swe-Finnish border in the northernmost Sweden).

I could tell it directly from the pictures, it's most likely you can find Baltid looking Swedes there.

I agree with Pallantides. There are people who can tan easily and then there are those who can't. I have a feeling it also has to do with skin thickness. If you have a thicker skin you can tan easier.

I think its quite obvious the light in the "tanned picture" is quite odd. Just look at the colors. Its not natural colors, everything is darkened.

But still, yea swedes have easy to tann well but we get golden, not brown as southern people. Besides i dont see any differences between swedes and other scandos in tanning abilities.
