Tens of Thousands March Ahead of World Jewish Congress

Tens of thousands of Hungarians rallied on Sunday to protest against what they said was growing anti-Semitism in the country which will host the plenary meeting of the World Jewish Congress next month.

The annual March of the Living, which remembers the victims of the Holocaust and usually has a few thousand participants, attracted a much bigger crowd this time, with thousands walking from a square near parliament along the river Danube, carrying Izraeli and European Union flags.

“We have more people here than ever, but this means that there is big trouble,” Gabor Gordon, chief organizer of the event told the crowd. “Racism, anti-Semitism… we need to stop these while we can.”
A far-right association of motor cyclists had also planned a rally for Sunday.

But Prime Minister Viktor Orban ordered the interior minister to ban the bikers from rallying on the day when the country remembers the death of more than 500,000 Hungarian Jews in Nazi death camps in World War Two.
Orban has said no event should be allowed that could hurt the dignity of the participants of the March of the Living.

First thing first.
Is the "tens of thousand" thing true? It's Jewish media anyway.

Second: What party or lobby programmed the march?

It's the mainstream media so we can assume that the number of protesters is between 300 and a 1000 and composed of the usual shit: Communist Party members, LGTB-organisations and Jewish organisations.

Every time I read an article with the words Hungary, and anti-semitism somewhere in it, the figure of the Hungarian Jews that died is always different. Usually ranges from 400,000 to 600,000.

And the biker rally that was banned, the left wing opposition started crying about it based on what legal grounds was it banned on (they are afraid they will start banning their rallys too).

Though I hate to admit, banning the biker rally was a smart move, it was on a sensitive day and the World Jewish Congress came to Budapest around that time, we don't need to give them more ammunition and unnecessary attention.

Some nice pictures of this rally, to give you an idea what kind of people it involves

The man in the last picture, he will most likely be the leader of the united left wing opposition. He is one of the most disgusting politicians in our politics right now, but that is a different topic.

The "Swiss" reference is a very bad habit around the world that lefties have picked up.
They use the "Swiss" example to supposedly how pacifism and their typical values bring prosperity.... Such an insult for the Helvetic Confederation.

There is nothing wrong with neutrality. But Swiss neutrality is only partly based on pacifism because Switzerland is, with Israel and North Korea (and you wouldn't say so if you were there but it really is the case) the most militarised society on earth. Every healthy man until his 40th (or somewhere around that age) is a trained soldier who keeps his service weapons at home.

Many of them were foreigners as well, like that Israeli man in the video.

Meh. I would say that half of the "people" have been photoshopped into the picture.

No doubt about it.
I've heard before from pro-gun Americans that the only other country that has a free armed society other than the US is Switzerland.

The Swiss example is also a very clear example that the presence of guns doesn't equate a rise of crime.

I think the reason why there is so much gun crime in America as compared to Cuba (same with Cuba: basically the entire country is a militia), Switzerland, Norway, Finland or even Belgium is that the Americans are simply a bunch of immature brats that can't handle the freedom or responsibility that comes with being allowed access to firearms.

The Swiss are Swiss, I bet if you would try the same in other countries it would have a very different effect. It would take decades, even centuries of conditioning for society to reach a level of maturity that the Swiss have.

I myself would not trust my people to have such gun laws. Given that the politicians we voted into power, the majority of Hungarians are simply not responsible enough for such privileges.

And while I, theoretically, believe in the right to bear arms I also don't think that the Netherlands is ready for it given the same reason you mentioned above.
