El Gamasy was born on 9 September 1921 in Batanoon, Monufia Governorate (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Monufia_Governorate), Egypt. He was one of two brothers and five sisters.His family was influential, at a rich social level. After high school, El Gamassy joined the Egyptian Military Academy and graduated in 1939.

He resembles one of my uncles.
So how do you classify him? and where could he pass besides Egypt?

Interesting, but he Doesn't look East-Med really to me. He is more Egyptian Type of Asian Alpine.

He can pass as a greek cypriot, without doubt. I think he is textbook egyptian look, without arabic infleunce, like this man is textbook albanian look: 32388

Doesn't look one from Arabia proper or Levant, I think his type can be found in only Egypt..

Can you define what's Berberid?
Because his last name actually is found in Arabian Peninsula and many other Arab speaking countries.
