State secretary for foreign affairs and external economy Péter Szijjártó met with Moldovan deputy economy minister Octavian Calmic in Budapest on Wednesday to discuss forging closer ties in the energy and air travel sectors.

The state-owned Hungarian energy group MVM could participate in the development of Moldova's high-voltage electricity network, and talks are underway on the launch of a direct flight between the two countries operated by Hungarian low-fare airline Wizz Air.

An agreement on the professional issues involved with the direct flight is in sight, but financial preparations are underway and the two governments’ must still decide whether to participate in the launch with “financial compensation,” he added. Hungary's Aeroplex is putting together an offer to undertake maintenance work on the A320 aircraft of Moldova's national carrier, he said. Businesses that are part of the Hungarian Environmental and Water Industry Cluster are expected to take part in two water treatment projects in Moldova, he added.

Orban's government has been very active in the diplomatic field while most of the EU yields to bureaucratic tyranny.
After the movements I registered here regarding Ukraine and Romania, seems the turn is for Moldova.
