Well, hey everyone.

I'm Greek, studying in the US. I found this place while googling studies on haplogroups. I have been lurking for a while here, alongside some other forums like Eupedia, but I'd say this place seems like much more fun. ;)

I think I'm interested in this place because of the discussion on taxonomy and genetics.

I do have one question though. I know that this place is derived from Skadi, a now defunct forum. But why does google always bring up results including the word skadi whenever I google "The Apricity"? That is so peculiar.

Well, of course there is a long intertwined history. Lots of detail but I won't bore you with all of it.

Well let me tell you, the reason why I got into all of this anthropology thing was when I randomly stumbled upon a map showing the skin tones of the world.

About a year ago I was under the impression that European nations didn't differ deeply phenotypically, or I knew but did not think about it all too much. I mean I always knew that Scandinavians had blond super-beauties etc. but I never perceived that as an actual difference. That map made me think "wait there are actual skin-tone differences in Europe? I thought there were blonds everywhere!". That's when I got exposed to "nordicism" and then anthropology and after some months to haplogroups.

I have gorgeous cousins and Im glad they feel so albo even they were born there, the cooker in my aunt restaurant was greek and we are so alike when it comes into marrying other nationalities :D

I can't post a picture but i can describe her. She is kind of tall with black-brown hair and a divine face with very gracile features and incredible light-medium brown eyes and of course a great body. Nice creamy, but not pale, skin-tone and generally everyone agrees that she is hot as f. She is a goddess. Plus she has studied business and owns two very successful restaurants here. Try to spot the flaw because there is none.

That's right, somehow its fault of our politicians and our impulsive mentality, albos have been very loyal to Greece and greeks know that even history favourited you more than us, and now there is nothing we can do about it. Both of our nations think that once we have been the only neighours in Balkans and we feel related about that.
