If I could only choose one, it would be Sarausa. I went with the three easternmost ones, as they had the most colonies, had the strongest relations with the rest of the Greek world, and played the largest role.

Syracuse in particular was once the largest city in the Greek world.

For whatever it was worth, Greek language and religion was preserved longest in Messina. But that may be due to proximity to Calabria, which was the last part of Italy to be Latinized.
