Nueva Germania was founded by German immigrants looking to start an Aryan colony in the late 1800s. It failed, but remnants of German culture remain.

I didn't know that Germans wanted to establish a colony in Paraguay, that's quite interesting. But it seems they've lost some manners and they a mix of Paraguayan and German culture, leaning more towards the first.

I wonder what would have happenned if their attempt to create the Aryan colony had succeeded, probably it would have attract more German immigrants.
