The recent issue of "Uważam Rze: Historia" is devoted to the common history of Poland and Lithuania and it's entitled "Nudges of Friendship''.

Andrzej Talaga, in the editiorial, argues that Lithuanians and Poles never felt real enmity towards one another, and that the "breaking up" with Poland, Polish culture and our common history, and concentrating on the search of their own separate identity, was a necessity for the newly born's state survival. Talaga also claims that there are hardly two other states in Europe who could be considered more natural allies than Lithuania and Poland, and I tend to agree with him.
