On May 10 President of the Nagorno Karabakh Republic Bako Sahakyan had a meeting with President Serzh Sargsyan of the Republic of Armenia.

The Presidents discussed a number of issues related to the interrelation between the two Armenian states. Special attention was paid to the economic cooperation, the development of financial and banking sectors.

Both sides emphasized that the continuous expansion and deepening of economic ties was among the key preconditions of progress in Armenia and Artsakh and increasing the efficiency of utilizing the existing internal potential.

Prime Minister Ara Harutyunyan, chairman of the Armenian Central Bank Arthur Javadyan and other officials partook in the meeting, Centtral Information Commmission of the Office of teh NKR President Reported.

Odd that Armenia doesn't even recognize N-K independence yet.

It's because we are still in negotiation with Azerbaijan over Karabakh in OSCE Minsk Format. If we recognized it would kill off the negotiations. Though we said, if Azerbaijan attacks Karabakh we will recognize Karabakh.
